Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting very fine needles under the skin at specific points in order to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself. The needles stimulate nerve endings in the muscles and surrounding tissue, which creates both a neurological and chemical response.
Community Acupuncture
Community Acupuncture involves treating patient together in the same (communal) space at the same time. Communal treatment maximises the therapist’s time and therefore provides a solution to the problem of cost effective treatment.
Sliding Scale
At SCA we charge you on a sliding scale, which means that you pay what you want to pay between £10 and £35, per treatment – no questions asked. This doesn’t effect in any way what treatment you receive and you don’t get anything extra for paying more!
